ECE 1- Vlada Matytsin (USA)

Dr Vlada Matytsin graduated Moscow University in 1988 with Diploma of General Dentistry . She then worked in one of the busiest government clinic in Miscow, Russia. She then started one of the first private practices in the country back in 1991 when Soviet Union collapsed and new opportunities for the small businesess got opened up.

Dr Matytsin continued her education in NYUCD and obtained her DDS Diploma in 2004. Dr Matytsin then worked in few different locations in NY state for one very well-known prestigious corporate company as general practitioner and clinical director. Dr Matytsin moved to Texas and started her own state-of-the-art-edge-technology dental practice in Sugar Land, TX.

Dr Matytsin obtained her Certificate of Diplomate of American Dental Implant Association in Miami, Fl. Dr Matytsin performs all kind of surgeries in her practice including but limiting to 3rd molars extractions, apical surgeries , perio- osseous surgery, implant placement , PRP and PRP derivatives and membrane placement, bone grafting , alveolar ridge augmentation and all other procedures, accociated with implant surgeries. Even though Dr Matytsin is passionate about Dental Implantology , she is strongly believes in Endodontics and saving teeth whenever possible as natural implants.

Besides Implantology and Endodontics , Dr Matytsin is certified Invisalign and Clear Correct dentist to provide orthodontic treatment for patients at all age groups.

Dr. Matytsin loves her profession and she is on the mission to provide the best quality dental care for her patients.

Dr Matytsin is a Member of different dental societies in the country. She is a Mentor in CEREC Doctors Group Membership. She does same-day-dentistry in her office and she is a big supporter for CEREC aesthetic restorations .

Dr Matytsin is a pioneer in implementing minimally invasive dental laser system -Waterlase ( Biolase) in her practice and utilizes it in All dental procedures including Endodontics. She is an advocate for NOSHOTS NOPAIN dentistry.

Dr Matytsin attends local and international conferences constantly and frequently to keep up with the new technologies and acquire new skills in all aspects of dentistry. She thinks that dentistry is the most exciting professional field to be.

ECE 2 – Peen Su (Malaysia)

Dr. Su is from Kuala Terengganu. He graduated from Vinayaka Missions University/Penang International Dental College in 2012. He then joined Malaysia’s Ministry of Health for 4 years.

He subsequently resigned from government and sets up his own practice in Kuala Terengganu with the thought of providing patients with more treatment alternatives rather than being limited by government to do basic treatments such as filling, scaling, removable dentures and extraction only.

Peen is a conservationist and believes that “natural implants” are always better than artificial implants and he would try his best to save a tooth if it is salvageable. Other than endodontics, Peen also has particular interest in orthodontics, aesthetic restoratives, and laser surgery. He attends both local and international conferences or courses to keep himself up to date so that he can provide his best to his patients.

Dr Ang Siaw Lian graduated from University Sains Malaysia with Dean List Award in 2006. She then joined Ministry of Health, Malaysia and worked in one of the most hectic government clinics in Kuala Lumpur, the national capital of Malaysia.

She was posted to one of the most prestigious government
hospitals in Malaysia, the Putrajaya Hospital at the federal administrative center of Malaysia. She joined private practice while she was furthering her postgraduate studies before starting her own well-equipped dental practice in Mont Kiara, an affluent township in Kuala Lumpur. She obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in Implantology from University of Central Lancashire, United Kingdom.

Even though she is passionate in the field of Dental Implantology, she believes that Endodontic is one of the fundament and core fields of dentistry. Beside Implantology and Endodontic, she has special interest in early intervention orthodontics treatment for children in mixed dentition.

She is the first Malaysian Myobrace Member Provider and one of the first certified Myobrace trainers by Myofunctional Research Co., Australia. Dr Ang is a passionate dentist and always delivers her best to her patients. She attends local and international conferences frequently to keep herself updated with the modern dental technology and evidence-based dentistry.

ECE 6 – Felicia Tsai (Malaysia)
Dr Felicia graduated from AIMST University, Malaysia in 2012.

She served the Ministry of Health in Kedah, she used to work in the busiest clinic in kedah treating about 50-80 patients a day herself due to the lack of dental officers. She was then posted to different hospitals as well as clinics in rural areas for her community service. Having trained under specialist hospital of Oral Maxillofacial Facial Surgery, Felicia learned to manage medically compromised patient, emergency cases, management of impacted third molars, as well as placement of implants. Also, she was given opportunity to get attachement to the Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine department where she learns management of oral medicine and pathology cases.

She then resigned from government and work in a private clinic in Kuala Lumpur since 2015. Apart from having special interest in endodontics, she also has particular interest in oral surgery, implantology, aesthetics dentistry and orthodontics.

She strongly believes in learning is a never ending process therefore she is here ready to learn and share her knowledge with all of you.

ECE 7 – Jeremy Goh (Singapore)

CE 2 – Sy Dang (Vietnam)

Dr. Dang Quoc Sy obtained his dental degree in 2008. After graduation, he worked at Long Xuyen hospital in the An Giang province.

In 2012, Quoc Sy started to practice in his private clinic in Long Xuyen.

In the meantime, he participated in many courses in Implantology, Orthodontics, Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Periodontics. After all, Quoc Sy realized that conventional Endo and Endo Surgery are very helpful in terms of saving the “Natural Implant” and therefore are of great service to patients, while being highly profitable. Quoc Sy’s desire is to practice conventional and surgical Endodontics in the most proper way.

CE 3 – Hieu Nguyen (Vietnam)

Dr. Hieu graduated from Can Tho University of Medical and Pharmacy in 2014. I worked at a public Hospital for 2 year before moving to My family Dental Office. In my work, I prefer prosthetics because It related aesthetic and make a lot of changes. I have taken a lot of classes on prosthetics, some orthodontic.

I joined Root Camp (RC) first time at 4/2019 in Ha Noi, that changed my mind about Endodontics. I like agility and accuracy of The Comm-Endo and want to be like that. I was very happy when came back RC at 9/2019 in HCM City, meeting many interesting people and learning more, of course. I will come back RC when I have a chance. Something private, I like traveling with my family, playing sports and loving animals.

CE 4 – Hieu Vu (Vietnam)

Doctor Dinh Vu Hieu graduated from Faculty of Odonto-Stomatology – University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Hieu regularly participates in intensive training courses and international dental conferences.

With great interest in Endodontics, Hieu has participated in Rootcamp 3 times with the desire to improve his expertise. 
According to Hieu, keeping the “natural implant” at all cost is his mission. 

Currently, Hieu is working in a private clinic with expertise in endodontics.  Hieu also regularly perform and share with everyone the techniques, tips and tricks in endodontic treatment.

CE 5 – Brian Van Voorhis (USA)

Dr. Brian Van Voorhis was born in Washington and grew up in Northern California. In 1992, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Brian went on to graduate from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1996.

He then practiced in Western Iowa with a small group practice for a year while waiting for his wife, Dr. Meredith to graduate. Brian spent the next four years as a contract dentist for the US Army in Wurzburg, Germany doing endo and oral surgery. He helped implement the use of rotary file systems into the Wurzburg DENTAC.

He returned to the United States in 2000 and became a clinic director and implant restorative doctor for a large dental HMO in Oregon.  As a general dentist, Brian did oral surgery and endo using multiple endo systems.

In 2007,  Dr. Brian and Dr. Meredith opened V² Dentistry offices in McMinnville, Oregon and Keizer, Oregon. They have enjoyed 12 years of private practice.  Both are members of the Alpha Omega Study Club chapter of the Seatlle Study Club. 

Brian attended Root Camp last year, in December, and enjoyed the program so much that he agreed to become a member of  Dr. Nguyen’s traveling  team. Implementing what he learned, Brian is currently using CBCT technolgy and the Comm-Endo file system in both offices.

On the private side, Brian and Metedith have three children.  Two at Depaul University in Chicago and his oldest is currently serving in the U.S. Army. Brian enjoys scuba diving and golfing. He also enjoys traveling to watch sporting events like the NHL, NFL, college football, and his sons collegiate track meets. 

CE 6 – Thi Minh Chau Nguyen (Vietnam)

Where there is a Vietnamese Comm-Endo, watch out … there must be another one not too far …

Dr. Minh Chau from Hanoi, Viet Nam, Graduated from HaNoi Medical University in 1998. She then obtained her Master’s Degree in Dentistry at The University of Odonto–Stomatology in 2006 and her Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Dentistry in 2013 from Hanoi Medical University. Her international background is very diverse with an inter-university degree in Endodontics and Surgical Endodontics & Periodontics (2009), esthetics (2016) and Occlusion and Tooth Wear (2017).

Minh Chau is credited with more than 30 publications and has been teaching endodontics for 12 years.

Minh-Chau joined Root Camp this last April in Hanoi, and returned as a Root Camp intructor a few weeks ago in Ho Chi Minh City. She will join our instructors Team again in Kuala Lumpur on December 2-4, 2019. Here is what she said …

“Root Camp first afforded me with a novel and outstanding Comm-Endo mindset. It also taught me how to build a professional team while becoming effective and efficient both with time and finances. I learned how to educate patients on the need for more advanced and therefore higher cost treatments.

Above all, Win’s teaching method is very simple and effective to practice clinically-relevant endodontics, especially in the field of endodontic surgery.

CE 7 – Rohan Saini (New Zealand)

Worked in Private Practice in New Plymouth on the western tip of the North Island in New Zealand, after graduated from University of Otago in 2016, then returned home to be closer to family, began working in Manurewa region at Hill Park Dental from January 2019 to present.   
 
Interests in restorative dentistry and oral surgery and saving teeth one root canal at a time if possible!   
 
Enjoys travelling and trying authentic cuisine from around the word, playing cricket for my local cricket club, watching tennis tournaments in different parts of the world.

CE 8 – Kali Stratford (New Zealand)

From Blenheim, at the tip of the South Island, New Zealand, moved up to Auckland this year working as a dental assistant from January 2019.  Is currently also engaged in a house officer role at the Auckland District Health Board. 
 
Has varied interests in many areas of dentistry at this early career stage, more so in public health and focusing on patient centered and holistic care. 
 
Come from a teaching background, and enjoy playing table tennis and participating in cultural dance – including Bollywood!

CE 9 – Alexandra Kotlar (Australia)
Dr Alexandra Kotlar is a New Zealand born dentist who now calls Melbourne, Australia home. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Physiology) from the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2004. After working in Auckland City Hospital for a year as a Cardiac Technician she wanted more involvement in the medical field and returned to the University of Otago to graduate with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2009. After graduation she was appointed a role as a Maxillofacial House Officer at Waikato Hospital. It was an incredibly intense, but enjoyable, year in which she was exposed to all kinds of dental and facial and trauma surgery.

In 2010 she moved with her husband to Melbourne, Australia and since then Dr Alexandra has worked in both community and private practices. She has been practicing solely in private practice since 2012 and over the last few years has developed a keen interest in laser dentistry – from paediatrics, tongue ties to periodontal treatment. Alex believes lasers are the way of the future in dentistry and considers her Waterlase iPlus an essential part of her dental tool kit. After attending Root Camp with Dr Win her interest in endodontics was reignited, so much so that she agreed to be a part of Dr Win’s team of teaching assistants!

Privately, Dr Alex and her husband have two young children and a large dog. The Kotlar family enjoys travelling the world finding new adventures and experiencing different cultures. Alex also enjoys skiing and tennis and great food!

CE 10 – Tuan Anh Le (Vietnam)

After graduating from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2011, Dr. Tuan Anh Le has spent most his time and experience in private practice.

Tuan Anh is also well-known for his leadership and fast-growing clinic, with over 1000 new patients each month.

Inspired by the save-the-tooth theory, Tuan Anh believes that Orthodontic and Endodontic treatments are the treatments of choice, saving patients from unwanted, over-indicated or unneccessary prostheses, which are very common in the Vietnamese population.

Recently, he has been interviewed by a Vietnamese TV show (HTV9 channel) for consultation about safe cosmetic dental treatment and how dentists are at the very foundation of the patients’ smile.

CE 11 – Upma Bhasin (New Zealand)

CE 12 – Noeli Minaya (USA)

Dr. Noeli Minaya graduated from the University of the Sacred Heart and obtained her Bachelor of Science in biology. She received her dental degree from The Iberoamerican University (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic. There, she was able to serve the population through several dental missions. Her heart was filled with joy and satisfaction as she was able to help people through dentistry. In addition, she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine. She also completed a one-year extensive residency program at Rutgers University. As an experienced clinician, she has a passion for helping people achieve beautiful and healthy smiles.

Because of her keen interest in Endodontics, she was also awarded the Student Achievement Award in Endodontics while studying at Rutgers University.

Noeli is a board certified dentist as well as an active member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. 

Dentistry is a journey for Noeli. She has been able to practice dentistry as a healer and researcher. She currently practices general dentistry in Clifton, New Jersey.

CE 13 – Grant Butler (USA)

Dr. Grant Butler lives in Grand Junction, CO. He is in a group practice with two other general dentists and pediatric dentist.

He graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. After graduation he moved to Cleveland, OH to attend Case Western Reserve University’s School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from there he moved to Las Vegas, NV and completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He gained experience in sedation, surgery, implants, and endodontics. He then moved to Grand Junction to practice. He has gained additional experience in guided surgery, and laser dentistry. He was a mentor with Cerecdoctors.com for several years, teaching new Cerec users how to use the software.

After attending Root Camp and seeing results in his practice, Grant returned to Root Camp II with team members for additional practice. With the team on board, procedures in the practice have improved even more.

He and his wife met in Colorado. They have two daughters, two dogs, and a cat. They enjoy boating, skiing, camping, and travelling.
